New for 2026! A native perennial in the coffee family. To reach 12(!) feet tall, these perennials prefer full sun/partial shade and medium/wet soil. Tolerant of flood conditions and does not do well in dry areas. In warmer months, its small spherical flowers are a hit with pollinators including bees and the swallowtail butterfly. Come winter it will feed the birds! *Foliage is toxic to livestock and other animals.* Cephalanthus occidentalis.
