Eggplant likes a warm sunny spot. This is an early variety bred for our northern climate. Fresh eggplant is firm, flavorful without bitterness. This is one of our go-to varieties as we love the versatility and quick cooking of the slender fruited Asian varieties. Abundant - and did I mention early(?!) deep purple 8-10" fruit, "by the armload" say the fine seed growers at Johnny's Selected Seeds.
